I love the detail and the composition, but mostly I love the colour scheme. I hope to see it at Tag. Best! Becky Reply You’ll have to make do with prints of it – the original is going to its new owner tomorrow! :) But you will! Reply This is absolutely fantastic. I am n love with details on the clothing. The contrast between the Elven and the Mannish aspects, both in gaze and posture and how you have garbed them. I love so much of your Silmarillion work, but this may be a new favorite! Reply Yes, Beleg leaning against a tree, at ease yet elegant. You could teach Peter Jackson a thing or two about Elven posture. They don’t have to stand to attention all the time. Reply This is stunning! It looks so crisp, yet soft at the same time; that, and the color scheme, make you feel like you are in the forest with them. The posing is also amazing, and I want that helmet, and the shield, too. Reply I love the picture because it is so gentle, and comforting. Reply Beleg and Turin have always been one of my favorite Tolkien friendships. Your artwork is beautiful, as always – this might be one of my new favorites.
