I’m an illustrator and teacher (of English and Latin, which account for many of my favourite drawing subjects).
I am a self-trained artist, and have been working as a freelance illustrator since 2003. I’ve worked for role-playing and card games, as well as with Fantasy and historical authors (Bernhard Hennen and Ben Kane).
I’ve always drawn. At home, at school, on holiday, on the bus. And I’ve always been drawn to Fantasy, from a very early age. My mother was a great fan of history, Tolkien – and of the English language; and she managed to instil in me a love for all of them. As for my fascination for Star Wars, my husband is totally guilty of that.
Originally, I’m from Northern Germany but moved to Cologne in 1994. Today, I live near Aachen with my husband (an avid role-player) and two children, as well as two cats.
